Kid-Friendly Rabbit Breeds

                     The first rabbit breed I will be talking about is the Havana Rabbit!

                                  

                                                                   

#1 Havana Rabbits usually want to become alfa and often do. They are extremally playful and social but they won't cuddle for long periods of time because they will become bored. Havana rabbits weigh between 4.5 - 6.5 lbs. so they are a great weight for kids!  

#2 French Lop Rabbits are great pets! They are definitely gentle giants, French Lop Rabbits are the biggest of all lops and can weigh up to 14 lbs. They love cuddling, are very affectionate, will always greet you, and are very social!    

#3 Chinchilla Rabbits are pretty, calm, sweet natured, and have a friendly temperament over all! They are also known for there supper soft fur! Chinchilla Rabbits are a great pet to have if you are looking for an indoors rabbit but they do ok outdoors too. I would personally suggest not to keep any small pet outside.    

#4 Japanese Harlequin Rabbits are wonderful pet especially if you want a rabbit that can learn tricks! These rabbits are very intelligent, calm, gentle, fun, and love people! Japanese Harlequin Rabbits also have really cool colorings!  

#5 Florida White Rabbits are pretty small, weighing around 4.5 - 6 lbs. they are incredibly tolerant so they are a great pet for kids! 

#6 Sussex Rabbits is a relatively new breed, is known to be a perfect pet. They are friendly, docile, inquisitive, and intelligent. This rabbit breed can gets very fat very fast so make sure to monitor its weight and if it get a little bigger than it should cut down on the treats.
